1.      What Is Taste and Toast? Taste and Toast to Education is a restaurant walk and is fun for the whole family. This is a great way to discover places in Walnut Creek you may have never seen, or to visit the places you already know and love. This event benefits the Walnut Creek Education Foundation.
2.      When Is It? May 10th 5:00 – 9:00 pm
3.      What is a Coupon Book and Where Can I Buy One?  The coupon book is your ticket to the event.  It contains coupons for each participating restaurant and merchant.

4.      When Do I Get My Coupon Book? Pick up your coupon books at the Will Call tables at Party Central located at the Jos. A. Bank’s parking lot at 1403 N Main Street.  If you are a WCEF Scholar Donor, please use the expedited “Scholar Donor” line.
5.      What’s a Scholar Donor and How Do I Become One? Scholar donors donate to WCEF at $1200 or more per year.  There will be a Will Call table set up specifically for Scholar Donors.

6.      What is Party Central? “Party Central” is the located at the Jos. A. Bank’s parking lot at 1403 N Main Street. It is where you pick up your coupon book from the Will Call Table.

Party Central also highlights some of the services WCEF funds.  Listen to musical performances by our students, view student art on display, and witness a science experiment.

Face painting is also available.  And don’t forget to check out the awesome raffle prizes.

7.      Where Do I Start? Begin your walk at the Jos. A. Bank’s parking lot at 1403 N Main Street. The parking lot is behind Jos. A. Bank. There you will need to pick up your booklet from the Will Call Table.  From there, you can go at your own pace to any of the participating restaurants and shops.
8.      Who Is Participating and How Will I Find Them? For a list of participating restaurants and merchants check out http://wcefk12.org/events/taste-and-toast-2017/.  Also, your coupon book will have a map in the front listing all the participating businesses.
9.      Where Can I Park? Parking is FREE after 5:00 in any of the 3 Walnut Creek city parking lots.
10.   What is WCEF? The Walnut Creek Education Foundation raises funds to preserve and enhance the education of each student in the Walnut Creek School District and Las Lomas High School in the Acalanes Union High School District through a broad-based community effort.
